Datin Dr. Norsayani Mohamad Yaakob is a Public Health Medicine Specialist and currently serves as the General Manager & Head of Occupational Health at PETRONAS. With more than 31 years of professional experience, including over 24 years in occupational health, she has played a significant role in advancing workplace health, safety, and well-being within the energy sector.

She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and a Master’s in Public Health (Occupational Health) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She has also completed professional training in Occupational Health in Japan and Train-the-Trainer certification in Australia.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Norsayani has served in key positions at the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and PETRONAS. Since June 2021, she has led Occupational Health initiatives across the PETRONAS Group as General Manager and Head of Occupational Health.

She is actively involved in professional and industry organisations, serving as a Fellow and Honorary Treasurer of the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia (AOEMM), while also contributing to various national and international occupational health advisory committees and panels.
