Abstract Submission (E-Poster)
DASH 2026 - ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Important Dates
- Abstract Submission Deadline: 14 June 2026
- Notification of Acceptance: 5 July 2026 (Within three weeks after submission)
- Presenter Registration Deadline: 7 July 2026
1. General Requirements
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Use Times New Roman, font size 12, single-spacing
- Abstract length: 200-250 words (excluding title and affiliations).
- Only original research studies or review papers are accepted.
- The Scientific Committee strongly encourages submission of original, unpublished work.
- Do not submit the same study in multiple versions. Duplicate submissions will be rejected.
- Each author may submit only ONE abstract as first/presenting author, but may be listed as co-author on other abstracts.
- All abstracts must be prepared using the official DASH 2026 abstract template. Click here to download the template.
- Submission format: MS Word (.DOC or .DOCX)
- File naming format: “FirstAuthorLastName_DASH2026” (Example: Ahmad_DASH2026)
2. Abstract Structure and Formatting
Title

- Must clearly reflect the content.
- Maximum 20 words.
- Use sentence case.
- Do not use abbreviations in the title.
Authors
-
- Provide full names (no degrees or titles).
- Indicate:
- Corresponding author with *
- Presenting author with **
- If both are the same person, use **
- Include department, institution, city, and country for each author.
Abstract Sections
The abstract must be structured as follows:

- Background: 2–3 sentences describing context.
- Objective: Clearly stated in one sentence.
- Methods: Study design, sample size, and key tools/analysis.
- Results: Key findings.
- Conclusion: Clear take-home message and clinical relevance.

Keywords

- Maximum of 5 keywords.
3. Formatting Restrictions
- No tables, figures, graphs, or references are allowed.
- All abbreviations must be defined at first use.
- Only standard abbreviations may be used without definition.
- Authors are responsible for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and scientific terminology.
4. Declaration
Authors must confirm:

- Whether the study has been previously published or presented.
- That the abstract is original and not submitted in multiple versions.

6. Review and Presentation
- Abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee.
- The Committee will determine:
- Acceptance or rejection
- Eligibility for Rapid-Fire E-Poster Presentation
- The reviewer’s decision is final.
- Rapid-fire presenters will be notified via email or WhatsApp at least one week before the DASH 2026 Festival.
