Associate Professor Dr. Wong Kah Keng is an Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) with over 14 years of research experience in bioinformatics, machine learning, computational biology, and tumor immunology. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and specializes in applying AI, machine learning, and multi-omics data analysis to cancer research and immunology.

He has led multiple national and university-funded research projects, supervised numerous postgraduate students, and published extensively in high-impact Q1 and Q2 journals. His recent work focuses on explainable AI, single-cell transcriptomics, and machine learning models for disease prediction.

He has been listed among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists for four consecutive years (2022–2025) and is recognized for his contributions to computational and mathematical biology, cancer bioinformatics, and translational medical research.
